Dodging Eros Cover Reveal Contest Details

Dodging Eros, Through Past, Present and Pleasure by Cardyn Brooks is something different. It's an unconventional erotic novel as a social commentary romp with elements of spoof and theater of the absurd; a mashup of subversive riffs on love. Entitlement, privilege, and identity have shaped the politics of pleasure and the risks and rewards of loving and being loved for generations. Dodging Eros serves these layers in a provocative brain dessert for adults.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and are responsible for any and all applicable income declaration requirements and taxes, and for providing valid, government-issued proof of identity, age, and eligibility. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.

Lee with Jayne Allen  adult contemporary fiction with romantic elements  Storehouse Voices, July 2025   First, dedicated fans of The Best Man franchise and its beloved characters need not fear how they’re treated in this first of three novels. Mission accomplished.  Second, once readers - fans or not - start this novel they won’t want to stop. The compulsion to re/watch The Best Man movies and limited series and maybe even to reread this book while anticipating the release of book two in 2026 will prove difficult to resist.  Who are you?  Who are your people?...
